3D PROFILOMETRY : MEASURE PRODUCTS HEIGHT
This system allows for the measurement of any product height placed in the marble.
The upper axis moves a sensor along the marble.
The calibration phase save the basic profile of marble, throughout its working length.
When moving, the marble distance measurement values is detected, and form the product profile.
The useful length of the marble,the scrolling speed, the measuring range and the accuracy of the sensor, depend on the needs and product to be measured.
For exemple, for a 500mm long product,and an accurancy of less than 10µm, the frame rate is 1 to 2 seconds. The return of the axis takes place in 1 second.
